The Luo channels arise when the body is unable to fully resolve a pathogenic factor. Their function is to contain and sequester unresolved pathology, preventing it from penetrating more deeply into the channel system.
Closely associated with Blood and Body Fluids, the Luo channels reflect the intersection of physical, emotional, and spiritual experience. They often reveal the lingering effects of trauma, chronic inflammation, emotional fixation, and experiences that have not been fully processed.
The Luo channels are seen as a repository for what remains unresolved, linking pathology of the Blood with the movement of the Shen. This course explores the theory, diagnosis, and treatment of the Luo channels and their role in chronic disease and emotional trauma.
